How do you moisturize your baby's hair?

Moisturized hair is the most important key when wanting to grow hair. All babies, no matter hair texture, need appropriate products to obtain moisturized hair. Here are some helpful tips!

  1. Shampooing Hair- Keep in mind that newborn babies do not require shampoos for washing their hair. Introduce shampoos only after your baby is around 2 months (baby body wash 4 weeks) old or so. After you wash your baby's hair using our Baby 2-in-1 Shampoo Body Gel, the next step is to make sure that the hair retains moisture to avoid breakage and bald spots.
  2. Condition Hair- After shampooing hair, make sure to apply our Baby 2-in-1 Conditioner. Conditioner is a moisturizing agent that replaces moisture stripped away by shampoo. It helps protect and strengthen the hair, which can promote growth and reduce breakage. Hair conditioner is especially important if your baby has textured or curly hair, which can be prone to dryness. Make sure to carefully detangle hair with a wide tooth comb.
  3. Moisturize Hair- Once you have completed shampooing and conditioning hair, you will find that you need to moisturize their hair often, and as they get older, every day. The trick is finding moisturizing products that have safe ingredients and won't weigh hair down or leave a residue. Use Baby Hydrating Leave-In Conditioner and follow that by apply our Baby Stimulating Growth Oil. Apply hair oil to hair and scalp after adding a leave in conditioner. This will help lock in moisture. Styling the hair with our Baby Vegan Curling Custard can also provide extra moisture while also allowing you to style the hair.

Final Tips: It’s important to maintain healthy hair by caring for it properly from the beginning. As your child grows, you may find that their hair may change dramatically over time, and you will have to adjust your routine and the products you use. Make sure that you’re avoiding any chemicals and sticking to all-natural, plant-based formulas like SmootiePie products have.
